Annual CANAR Meeting Began in Cambridge

2015-05-22-16.38.33Cambridge, ONT_ Under the Auspices of His Grace, Bishop Meghrig Parikian, Prelate, the annual Canadian Armenian National Assembly Representatives (CANAR) meeting started at St. Nishan Armenian Apostolic Church in Cambridge on May 22, 2015.

2015-05-22-16.41.21During the meeting, new Executive and Religious Council members of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada will be elected for the coming year. Main concerns are the future of the Armenian Church, Armenian School armenology program, social service related issues, etc…

Delegates from Prelacy churches across Canada attending the meeting, including Montreal’s Sourp Hagop Armenian Apostolic Church, Laval’s Sourp Kevork Armenian Apostolic Church, Toronto’s St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church, Sourp Nishan Armenian Apostolic Church in Cambridge, St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church in Vancouver, St. Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church in Winnipeg and St. Paul Armenian Apostolic Church in St. Catharines.
