14 Dec Armenia marks 27th anniversary of devastating earthquake

The 1988 Armenian earthquake, also known as the Spitak earthquake occurred in the northern region of Armenia on Wednesday, December 7, 1988 at 11:41 local time.

We mourn the death and destruction in Armenia and we pray for those who died in the disaster. May their souls rest in peace, may their families be comforted, and we pray for the living survivors.
