ԹԵՄԱԿԱԼ ԱՌԱՋՆՈՐԴ
ԳԱՆԱՏԱՅԻ ՀԱՅՈՑ ԹԵՄԻՆ
Գանատայի Հայոց Թեմի Ազգային Երեսփոխանական Ժողովը տեղի ունեցաւ Լաւալի մէջ, 13-14 Մայիս 2016-ի շաբաթավերջին, հիւրընկալութեամբ Ս. Գէորգ Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցւոյ Հոգեւոր Հովիւին եւ Հոգաբարձութեան:
Ժողովին իրենց մասնակցութիւնը բերին Գանատայի տարածքին գործող Հոգեւորականները, եկեղեցիներու Ազգային Երեսփոխանները, Ազգային Պատգամաւորները, Հոգաբարձական կազմերը եւ գործակից կազմակերպութեանց ներկայացուցիչներն ու Կիլիկեան Սուրբ Աթոռի եւ Առաջնորդարանի շքանշանակիրներն ու հիւրերը։ Օրակարգին մաս կը կազմէր նաեւ Առաջնորդի ընտրութիւնը. քուէներու բարձր մեծամասնութեամբ՝ Գանատայի Հայոց Թեմի Առաջնորդ ընտրուեցաւ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Բաբգէն Սրբ. Արքեպիսկոպոս Չարեան:
Թեմակալ Առաջնորդը կը ծառայէր Սպահանի Հայոց Թեմէն (Նոր Ջուղա) ներս, որպէս Առաջնորդ։ Աւազանի անունով Յակոբ, ան ծնած է Պէյրութ 1965ին, Լիբանան։ Նախնական կրթութիւնը ստացած է Հայաշէնի (Պէյրութ) Ազգ. Թորգոմեան Վարժարանին մէջ։
1976ին ընդունուած է Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիոյ Կաթողիկոսութեան դպրեվանքը՝ Անթիլիաս, որուն հնգամեայ Ժառանգաւորաց բաժինը աւարտելէ ետք ձեռնադրուած է սարկաւագ։ Իսկ ընծայարանի եռամեայ Աստուածաբանական եւ հայագիտական դասընթացքը աւարտելէ ետք, կուսակրօն քահանայ ձեռնադրուած է 1984ին, ձեռամբ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Տաթեւ Արք. Սարգիսեանի եւ վերակոչուած Տ. Բաբգէն Աբեղայ։ Այնուհետեւ դպրեվանքին մէջ վարած է ուսուցչութեան եւ հսկողութեան պաշտօններ։ Նոյն տարիներուն ուսուցիչ եղած է նաեւ Թռչնոց Բոյնի եւ Ազգ. Թորգոմեան վարժարաններուն մէջ։
1989ին «Հայ Հոգեւորականութեան Կորուստը Մեծ Եղեռնին» նիւթը որպէս աւարտաճառ ներկայացնելէ ետք, ստացած է վարդապետական աստիճան ձեռամբ՝ Երջանկայիշատակ Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ. Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիոյ Կաթողիկոսին ։
Վանական իր ծառայութիւններուն ընթացքին (1986-1993) վարած է նաեւ Գաւազանակրութեան պաշտօն եւ եղած է անձնական քարտուղար Երջանկայիշատակ Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ. Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիոյ Հայրապետին։ Նոյն տարիներուն վարած է նաեւ քահանայից դասընթացքի վարիչի պաշտօնը եւ եօթը տարիներ պաշտօնավարած է Ազգ. Աբգարեան վարժարանէն ներս, դասաւանդելով հայագիտական ու կրօնագիտական առարկաներ։
1993-1996 տարիներուն եղած է առաջին հոգեւոր հովիւը Արաբական Միացեալ Էմիրութեանց, կեդրոն ունենալով Շարժա քաղաքը, հովուելով նաեւ Տուպայի եւ Ապու Տապիի հայ գաղութները, միաժամանակ դասաւանդելով տեղւոյն հայկական միօրեայ վարժարաններուն մէջ։
1996ին կը դառնայ հոգեւոր խորհրդատուն Հայ Եկեղեցւոյ Համալսարանական Ուսանողներու Միութեան (ՀԵՀՈՄ)։
1996-2002 տարիներուն ծառայած է Միացեալ Նահանգներու Արեւմտեան թեմէն ներս, իբրեւ հոգեւոր հովիւ Սան Ֆրանսիսկոյի Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսաւորիչ եկեղեցւոյ։ Միաժամանակ եղած է Թեմի Կրօնական Ժողովի ատենապետ։
1998ին Սան Ֆրանսիսկոյի մէջ ստացած է Ծայրագոյն Վարդապետու-թեան աստիճան, ձեռամբ Գերշ. Տ. Մուշեղ Արք. Մարտիրոսեանի։
2002-2004 Սեպտեմբեր, ծառայած է Բերիոյ Թեմէն ներս (Սուրիա), իբրեւ Առաջնորդական Փոխանորդ Ճէզիրէի, կեդրոն ունենալով Գամիշլի քաղաքը։ Ապա 2004 Օգոստոսին, Սպահանի Թեմի Պատգամաւորական ժողովին կողմէ ընտրուած է Առաջնորդական Տեղապահ Սպահանի Հայոց Թեմին։
Սպահանի Հայոց Թեմի 12-րդ Պատգամաւորական ժողովը, գումարուած՝ Նոր Ջուղայի Ս. Ամենափրկչեան վանքի կամարներուն տակ, 28 Յունուար 2005ին, Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա. Կաթողիկոսին կողմէ ուղարկուած եռանուն ցանկէն զինք միաձայնութեամբ կ՚ընտրէ Սպահանի Հայոց Թեմի Առաջնորդ։
2006 Յունիսին, Եպիսկոպոսական ձեռնադրութիւն եւ օծում կը ստանայ ձեռամբ՝ Արամ Ա. Կաթողիկոսի, Անթիլիասի Մայր Տաճարին մէջ։
2014-ին, Սպահանի Հայոց Թեմի մԷջ կը նշուի սրբազան հօր քահանայութեան 30-ամեակը եւ առաջնորդութեան 10-ամեակը։ Նոյն օրը Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա. Կաթողիկոսին կողմէ կը ստանայ Արքութեան տիտղոս։
2004-2016, 12 երկար տարիներ կը վարէ Սպահանի Հայոց Թեմի եւ հարաւային իրանահայութեան Առաջնորդական պաշտօնը։
Գանատայի Հայոց Թեմի նորընտիր Առաջնորդը Մոնթրէալ պիտի ժամանէ Յունիս ամսուն ընթացքին։
His Eminence Archbishop Papken Tcharian
His Eminence Archbishop Papken Tcharian (baptismal name Hagop) was born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1965, and received his primary education at the Hayashen Torkomian National Elementary School in Beirut.
In 1976, he was admitted to the Seminary of the Catholicosate of Cilicia, and following his graduation from the clerical college, he was ordained as Deacon. Three years later, he completed his education in Theology and Armenian Studies, was ordained as a celibate priest by His Eminence Archbishop Datev Sarkissian, and renamed Fr. Papken. Following his appointment, he worked as a teacher and superintendent at the Seminary. During those years, he also taught at the Bird’s Nest Orphanage and at the Hayashen Torkomian National Elementary School.
In 1989, he completed his thesis “The Great Loss of the Armenian Clergy during the Armenian Genocide,” upon which His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of the Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia, ordained him as Very Reverend Father.
During his tenure at the Seminary from 1986-1993, he also occupied the posts of Official Staff Bearer and Personal Secretary to the late Catholicos, His Holiness Karekin II. During those years, he was also the Director of the Seminary’s clerical courses and taught Armenian, Armenian History, Armenian Geography and Theology for seven years at the Apkarian National School.
From 1993-1996, he became the first pastor to serve the Armenian communities in Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates, where he taught Armenian at the one-day Armenian schools.
In 1996, he was nominated to the clerical council of the Armenian Church University Student Association (ACUSA).
From 1996 to 2002, he served at the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America, as pastor of the St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church in San Francisco. During this time, he was also elected as Chairman of the Prelacy’s Religious Council.
In 1998, His Holiness Aram I elevated him to the rank of Most Reverend Father.
Following his service at the Western Prelacy of the United States, he moved to Syria, where he served the community of Qamishli as Vicar General from 2002 to 2004.
In August 2004, he was elected Prelate of the Prelacy of Isfahan in Iran and served the community for 12 years.
In June 2006, His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia, ordained him Bishop. In 2014, on the 30th anniversary of his ordainment as priest and on the 10th anniversary of his election as Prelate, His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos elevated His Grace Tcharian to Archbishop.
On May 14, 2016, the CANAR elected Archbishop Tcharian Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada.
Son Éminence Archevêque Papken Tcharian
Son Éminence Archevêque Papken Tcharian (née Hagop) est née à Beyrouth au Liban en 1965 et a reçu son éducation primaire à l’école nationale Hayashen Torkomian à Beyrouth.
En 1976, il est admis au Séminaire du Catholicossat de la Cilicie et après sa graduation du collège clérical, il est ordonné comme diacre. Trois ans plus tard, une fois que son éducation en théologie et arménologie est complétée, il est ordonné en tant que prêtre célibat et renommé Père Papken par son Éminence Archevêque Datev Sarkissian. Suivant sa nomination, il devient professeur et superviseur au Séminaire. Durant ces années, il enseigne aussi à l’orphelinat Nid d’oiseaux et à l’école primaire nationale Hayashen Torkomian.
En 1989, il présente sa thèse, « La grande perte du clergé arménien durant le Génocide arménien » et ensuite, Sa Sainteté, Karekin II, Catholicos du Catholicossat de la Cilicie, l’ordonne comme Très Révérend Père.
Durant ses années de service au Séminaire de 1986 à 1993, il occupe les postes de Porteur officiel du bâton de procession et secrétaire personnel à Sa Sainteté, Karekin II, Catholicos. Durant ce temps, il a aussi dirigé les cours cléricaux du Séminaire et pour sept années consécutives, il a donné des cours d’arménologie et de théologie à l’école nationale Apkarian.
De 1993 à 1996, il devient le premier pasteur à servir les communautés arméniennes de Charjah, Dubaï et Abou Dabi des Émirats arabes unis, où il enseigne l’Arménien aux écoles d’une journée arméniennes.
En 1996, il est sélectionné en tant que conseiller clérical de l’Association des étudiants de l’église arménienne.
De 1996 à 2002, il sert la communauté de San Francisco en tant que pasteur de l’église arménienne apostolique St Grégoire. Durant ce temps, il est aussi élu en tant que président du Conseil Religieux de la Prélature arménienne apostolique occidentale des États-Unis.
En 1998, Son Éminence Archevêque Moushegh Mardirossian, Prélat de la Prélature arménienne apostolique occidentale des États-Unis, l’élève au titre de Père Révérendissime.
Suivant son séjour aux États-Unis, il sert la communauté arménienne de Qamishli en Syrie en tant que Vicaire Général de 2002 à 2004.
En août 2004, il est élu comme Prélat de la Prélature arménienne d’Isfahan en Iran où il y restera pour 12 années.
En juin 2006, Sa Sainteté Aram I, Catholicos du Catholicossat de la Cilicie, l’ordonne en tant qu’Évêque. En 2014, sur le 30ème anniversaire de son ordination en tant que prêtre et son 10ème en tant que Prélat, Sa Sainteté Aram I, Catholicos, l’élève en tant qu’Archevêque.
Le 14 mai 2016, il est élu en tant que Prélat de la Prélature arménienne du Canada.
