Եպիսկոպոսաց Ժողովին

Գանատայի Հայոց Թեմի Առաջնորդ՝ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Մեղրիկ Եպկ. Բարիքեան, Կիրակի, 9 Նոյեմբեր 2014-ի երեկոյեան, մեկնեցաւ Երեւան, Հայաստան, միանալու համար Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիոյ Սուրբ Աթոռի եպիսկոպոսական դասին, Ս. Էջմիածինի մէջ մասնակցելու Հայց. Առաքելական եկեղեցւոյ Եպիսկոպոսաց Բ. Ժողովին, որ տեղի պիտի ունենայ 11-13 Նոյեմբերին, նախագահութեամբ Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ. Ամենայն Հայոց եւ Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա. Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիոյ Վեհափառ Հայրապետներուն։

Եպիսկոպոսաց Ժողովը մեր եկեղեցւոյ նուիրապետական չորս աթոռներուն բարձրաստիճան հոգեւորականները համախմբող ժողովն է, որ պիտի քննարկէ Հայ Եկեղեցւոյ եւ ազգային հիմնական հարցեր։ Օրակարգին մաս կը կազմեն ծիսական եւ Հայ Եկեղեցւոյ բարեկարգութեան առընչուած հարցեր, եւ յատկապէս Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան 100-ամեակին, նահատակներու սրբադասման եւ Մայր Հայրենիքին եւ Հայութեան վերաբերող հարցեր:

The Bishops’ Synod of the Armenian Church

The first Bishops’ Synod of the Armenian Church, which commenced Tuesday, September 25-27, 2013 at the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin after a six century-long interval, had two main subjects on the agenda – canonization of the Armenian Genocide victims and the package on the Baptism ceremonial rite.

The Synod has brought together 62 archbishops and bishops from the dioceses in Armenia and all over the world and is presided by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia. It was for the first time that the synod was held with the participation of high-ranking clergymen from both the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the Great House of Cilicia.

The second Bishops’ Synod will convene on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. His Grace Bishop Meghrig Parikian traveled to Armenia to take part at the Synod.
