Prelacy Key Events for January

 

Under the Auspices of His Eminence, Archbishop Khajag Hagopian, Prelate, the Armenian Prelacy of Canada will be holding several events of interest during the month of January in Montreal.

 

Lecture on Armenian Education

 

A lecture on “The why and how of Armenian education” will be presented by Professor Viken Tufenkjian at the Armenian community centre’s Aharonian hall on the evening of Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 8pm.

 

Spiritual Concert

 

A spiritual concert “Praising the Lord, Jesus Christ, An experience of Unity” will be held at the Sourp Hagop Armenian Apostolic Church on Saturday, January 28, 2007 at 7:30pm.

 

Organized by the Sourp Hagop Armenian Apostolic Church, the concert will feature six choir groups, including the choirs of Archangels Michael and Gabriel Greek Orthodox Church, Transfiguration of our Lord Roman Catholic Church, Mar Jacob Syrian Orthodox Church, Eritrean Orthodox Church, Sourp Hagop Armenian Apostolic Church and the Quintet of Armenian Religious Hymns.

 

Alumni and Career Day

 

Sponsored by the Armenian Prelacy of Canada, the ARF “Armen Karo” Student Association is organizing a career and alumni day at the Armenian Prelacy of Canada hall on the afternoon of Sunday, January 28 at 2pm. Professionals in a variety of fields will be on hand to answer questions and provide feedback on potential job opportunities.
