Prelacy Holds Spelling Bee at Sourp Hagop Armenian Day School

 

Under the Auspices of His Eminence, Archbishop Khajag Hagopian, Prelate, a spelling bee in Armenian will be held at the Sourp Hagop Armenian School auditorium on Sunday March 18 at 3pm.

 

Organized by the Armenian Prelacy of Canada’s Armenian National Education Council, the spelling bee is divided into groups of students from fourth to sixth grade, junior high and high school levels.

 

Prior to the commencement of this special event, prepared in accordance with standard spelling bee regulations, elementary students were given 100 words to study, whereas junior high participants were given 150 words and 200 to those in high school.
