Prelate Hagopian Returns from Meeting at Armenian Catholicosate
Shortly after His arrival in Montreal from a meeting at the Armenian Catholicosate in Antelias, Lebanon, His Eminence Archbishop Hagopian, Prelate, visited the Armenian Embassy in Ottawa on March 30, 2007 to pay His respects for the passing of Andranik Margarian, Prime Minister of Armenia.
Prelate Hagopian was joined by His Eminence Archbishop Souren Kataroyan, Armenian Prelacy of Canada Executive Council chairperson Krikor Kouyoumdjian, and Council members Dr. Garbis Harboyan and Arto Kabassakalian.
Levon Shant 50th Anniversary Celebration
Archbishop Hagopian also attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the Levon Shant Montreal chapter of the A.R.F. Youth Organization of Canada at the Armenian community centre on March 31, where He was greeted with a standing ovation.
Palm Sunday
His Eminence, Archbishop Hagopian, joined the Laval community and presided over Palm Sunday Divine Liturgy at Sourp Kevork Armenian Apostolic Church. His Eminence will be celebrating Holy Week and Easter Sunday with the community at Sourp Hagop Armenian Cathedral in Montreal.
