Seminar Held for Prelacy Clergy & Delegates
Under the Auspices of His Eminence, Archbishop Khajag Hagopian, Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada, a one-day seminar was held for the Prelacy churches, pastors, Board of Trustees, World Assembly Delegates and Canadian Armenian Natioanl Representatives Assembly, as well as Executive Council members, in Kingston on November 17, 2007.
His Eminence, Archbishop Hagopian, blessed the seminar with our Lord’s Prayer, and was followed by Dr. Jean Arakelian, Prelacy Executive Council Chairperson, who welcomed the attendants.
Dr. Rev. Willard Metzger, the director of Church Relations for World Vision Canada, presented the first lecture, Sharing Best Practices, and was followed by attorney Robert Adourian, who gave a presentation on Wills, Trusts and Power of Attorney.
Representatives from Prelacy Church Boards of Trustees then took turns presenting their reports and upcoming planned projects and activities.
The final lecture was given by Raffi Der Boghossian on regarding Elderly Care as a Mission. The seminar ended with a few heartening words by His Eminence Archbishop Hagopian.
