His Eminence Joins ARS for Inauguration
His Eminence, Archbishop Khajag Hagopian, Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada, joined Montreal’s Armenian Relief Society’s (ARS) Sosse Chapter members for the grand opening of the ARS salon at the Manoir Cartierville residential care centre on the afternoon of May 15, 2008.
Archbishop Hagopian blessed the newly inaugurated ARS salon prior to the
cutting of the ribbon by Nicole Perrier, Manoir Cartierville’s director,
and Haygo Nahabedian of ARS Sosse
ARS member Ani Babikian welcomed the attendants, whereas Flora Guiragossian, Chapter Chairperson, speaking on behalf of the ARS, presented the centre with the donation for the new foyer.
Prelate Hagopian closed the inauguration with a few words of support, “It is very important for our community to have such a care centre for our seniors as it is equally important for us to give back to those who worked and sacrificed so much for us.”
