Very Rev. Fr. Parikian Named Rector of Ontario
Very Rev. Fr. Meghrig Parikian, Toronto’s St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church Pastor, was named as Rector of Ontario by His Eminence Archbishop Khajag Hagopian, Prelate, and the Executive and Religious Councils of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada.
As Rector of Ontario, Very Rev. Fr. Parikian’s mission will be to work closely with Armenian Prelacy churches and developing communities, as well as assist in improving the church’s community outreach and organizational structure.
His mission will also include a study of the current situation of the province’s Prelacy churches, to look into how community-church relations can be strengthened and in turn, present the Council with insight and recommendations.
