Archbishop Hagopian meets with Mr. Edouard Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia

His Eminence Archbishop Khajag Hagopian, Prelate, joined ARF Delegation represented by Dr. Vagharch Ehramdjian (Chairperson), Mr. Krikor Der Ghazarian (ANCC Representative) and Mr. Vahakn Karakachian (Editor, Horizon Weekly) to meet with Mr. Edouard Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia and Mr. Arman Akopian, Minister-Counsellor, Chargé d'Affaires, in Quebec City.

The meeting between the Foreign Minister, the Prelate, and ARF Delegation lasted for an hour and half, where issues related to Armenia and the Diaspora were discussed.

President Serge Sarkissian appointed Mr. Edouard Nalbandian as Foreign Minister of Armenia on April 14, 2008.

His Excellency was visiting Quebec City for a La Francophonie meeting as the Republic of Armeniaès representative. La Francophonie is an international organization of French-speaking countries and governments.

After the meeting with the Foreign Minister, Prelate Hagopian and the ARF Delegation were joined by Primate Galstanian and community leaders.
