General Assembly Concludes in Antelias  Under the Auspices of His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Armenian Catholicosate of the
Great House of Cilicia, the General Assembly concluded its last session at the Catholicosate in Antelias, Lebanon, on December 5, 2008.
The Assembly concentrated on a number of issues, particularly the state of the Armenian Church in the Diaspora, continuing to strengthen inter-church relations, as well as developing new projects the Catholicosate's Councils and Committees can work on.  Elections were also held for the Executive Committee of the Catholicosate, whereas Dr. Girair Basmadjian, member of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada's World Assembly Delegates, was elected as member. |
