His Eminence Meets with Armenian Religious Education Council  His Eminence, Archbishop Khajag Hagopian, Prelate, met with the Armenian Prelacy of Canada’s Armenian Religious Education Council (AREC) at the Prelacy on April 10, 2010.
During their meeting, Archbishop Hagopian and AREC evaluated the outcome and success of the youth seminar, “Participate, Speak, Listen and Act,” which was organized by the Religious Education Council in Kingston from March 20 to 21, 2010. The seminar was specifically designed for young adults between the ages of 16 and 35, in order to encourage them to express themselves as a young Armenians, so they may relay their ideas and ask any questions they may have, particularly about faith and the Armenian Church. Prelate Hagopian and Council members also took the opportunity to discuss and outline future projects they have planned for the coming year, and took into consideration all of the information they had gathered from the young adults who attended the seminar. |
